Reading

We will be using Houghton Mifflin Reading program, which provides an excellent source of materials and activities for teaching and implementing the reading curriculum.

​​​Students will read a variety of literature including fiction, non-fiction, folktales, fantasies, poetry, etc.  The program integrates writing, grammar, and spelling.  We will spend approximately one week on each story focusing on various skills.
